⚙️ Patch Notes – Character & Guild Discovery Update

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Changes

✅ Character Switcher

• Fixed an issue where the switcher wasn’t loading properly when users had multiple characters in the same guild.
• Added caching to improve state handling.
• Added metadata such as the character’s guild (if any).

✅ Guild Discovery

• Now shows the header and sidebar when logged in.
• If you’re not signed in, only the content displays.
• You still need to apply in order to join guilds.
• Reorganized the layout for a cleaner, more polished look.

✅ Patch Notes

• Fixed an issue where the patch notes would loop endlessly even after selecting “hide next time.”

✅ Character Creation

• Character image is no longer required when creating a new character.
• Default role is now auto-selected during creation, but can be changed via Edit Details.
• For existing users, the role is temporarily set to “Unknown” (images will need to be re-uploaded).

✅ Character Dashboard

• Updated the display to better show character information.
• A full UI polish may come later (similar to Guild Discovery), but focus is shifting toward the Tasks System for now.

✅ Applications

• Users can now withdraw their own applications.
• Added a pending applications counter to the sidebar (only shows if count > 0).
